For years our customers have asked the same question: "What should I use at home?" Until now we answered with advice. From now on we answer with a shelf. HOCUS is soon launching its own car care product line, available at shop.hocus.lt.
Why we build our own line
Dozens of cars pass through our bays every day. Over the years we have tested hundreds of products and kept running into the same problem: the market is full of beautifully packaged bottles that do not deliver what they promise. Some leave streaks on glass, some wash off after the first rain, and some smell so strongly of chemicals that the cabin is unpleasant to sit in.
So we decided to choose differently. Every HOCUS product is tested by our detailers on real customer cars, not only on a test panel in a laboratory. If a product fails in winter, if it is too aggressive for clear coat, or if it is hard to use without experience, it does not make the line.
What the first line includes
We start with the products people need most often, not with exotics:
- Car shampoo with a wash mitt, gentle on clear coat and rich in foam
- Glass cleaner with a cloth, no streaks and no harsh smell
- Textile cleaner with an interior cloth for seats and mats
- Wheel cleaner that dissolves brake dust
- Tyre renewal set for a deep black finish that is not greasy
- Gloss booster for quick shine between washes
- Drying towel that absorbs water without scratching
- A complete car care set for anyone who wants everything at once
Brochures and explanation videos
A product without knowledge is just a bottle. That is why every item comes with a clear brochure and a short explanation video: how much to use, how to dilute it, in what order to wash the car and what never to do in direct sun. Our goal is simple, that someone working at home gets a result a professional would not be ashamed of.
Quality checked by the team
Every product has a detailer responsible for it who used it for at least a month before approval. We check foam, the effect on paint and plastics, the smell inside the cabin, how it behaves in the cold and whether it forgives mistakes. Because at home mistakes happen, and a good product has to tolerate them.
When it starts
The first line is in preparation and the shop is live at shop.hocus.lt. New products, prices and instructions will appear there as soon as they are ready. And if you have no time to wash the car yourself, our bays are always open.
